History & Biography Endless Chain ironically is a solo studio project. The early monicker was Endless Grey and picked from a slow song For Whom The Bell Tolls by a band called Metallica. Endless Grey was already in use and the name was changed. Friend Ari Hokkanen contributes lyrics. Rockshots Records announced Endless Chain’s first single Nothing More off the 2021 album Forthcoming Past, which was out on June 25th. Drummer Samuli Mikkonen (Korpiklaani) performed the drums on the debut. The band was compared to Katatonia and Amorphis.
Endless Chain released the song Blind Kings, featuring Sami-Yli Sirniö (Kreator), Samuli Mikkonen (Korpiklaani) and Ville Hovi (Blackstar Halo) through Inverse Records in 2023. The song appeared on the band's 2024 demo, Agony. There was a video for the slow song We Are All Vulnerable. The band was counting singers Ville Hovi (clean vocals), Aki Salonen (growling), guitarist and bassist Aleksanteri Kuosa and drum stool-for-hire Samuli Mikkonen as members now.
