History & Biography
The band was formed in 1991. The band hailed from the US State of Tennessee. Enter Self entered the scene in 1994 when they played The Milwaukee Metal Fest. The band climbed the same stage for the second year in a row in 1995. In 1997, with the help of producer Jim Morris, they recorded the Transcendental Dawn demo sampler. The bands demos were 1993's Inflicted, 1994's Reanimated And Decomposition and 1995's Stained. They were managed by Metal Mom and consequently played the Michigan Metal Fest. They signed to Lost Disciple in 1999 and released Awaken In Agony - although there was some earlier interest from the DOA MIA Records. The death metallers also opened for Marduk and Deicide in 2001 - as well as bands like Slayer and Megadeth - and have appeared on the usual array of 'Tribute' samplers. The act disbanded in 2003.

Just to be part of the rules of the metal scene, the act reformed in 2018. Jeff Simms died in 2021. Doug Williams of Origin, Solstice and Cephalic Carnage became the bassist. Alex Marquez of Solstice, Malevolent Creation and many other acts became the vocalist. Tomas Iglesias of Anger and Double Barrel Justice became the drummer in 2022. The band's singer Alex Marquez was hospitalized with a blood infection in 2023. The band was putting together a compilation in 2023 and soliciting recordings from its audience. A 2024 demo was called Din Of Iniquity. Craig Smilowski (ex-Incantation) was on drums. Brutal Mind reissued it.
