History & Biography The Massachusetts, USA-based hardcore, grindcore, rock band was simply Escuela (‘school’) between 2016 and 2019. The act featured Tom Sifuentes on bass. The Ppoowweerrvviioolleennccee and Ggrriinnddccoorree (profits went to Black Lives Matter movement and LGTBQ+ communities) demos followed. Indoctrination was a 2020 demo. Memory Theater was an album through MNRK Heavy. Eyehategod, Come To Grief, Snafu and Escuela Grind had a mini-tour of the USA in 2022. There was also an appearance at Obscene Extreme 2022. The singer had taken a sabbatical from being an architect in order to work in the band. The group toured Eastern Canada and USA with Bonginator in 2023. The band announced a return to Europe next. Internal Bleeding's Ryan Giordano was on bass for 2023 and 2024.
Ddeeaatthhmmeettaall was a 2024 EP. USA-based Escuela Grind released an album, entitled Dreams On Algorithms, through MNRK Heavy on October 18th 2024. The band released a video for the song Concept Of God. The band was touring the USA. Justin Altamirano was the bassist as of 2024. The band was opening for Hatebreed and Incite in the USA before travelling to Europe in 2025. The band was booked for Hellfest 2026 in France. First, however, Jake Sanders was announced as the band's new drummer. He replaced Jesse Fuentes who took over the guitarist position.
