History & Biography
Solo black metal act Esoctrilihum (which is not an actual word) took the occult world by storm beginning in 2016. The act by singer and multi-instrumentalist Asthâghul went at it with all the zeal and dedication of a Japanese salaryman who does not even know how to spell 'vacation.' Aside from the listed full-lengths, the man also regularly issues EPs. The music veers from solid black metal to atmospheric and to alternative. The albums address different mental dimensions of horror. He is also in the folksy Othaliël.

Not only albums come like rain in monsoon eason, but also the titles become longer and longer. Flesh Pierced By The Blades Of Thritônh, Eyes Devoured By Vulth Suidarl, The Giant Fly or Monotony Of A Putrid Life In The Eternal Nothingness anyone? Ghostigmatah - Spiritual Rites Of The Psychopomp Abxulöm was the title for the 2025 full-length by France-based solo act Esoctrilihum. It was out through I, Voidhanger Records on September 5th, 2025.
