History & Biography
A 1993 The Endless demo and EP called As The Silence Fades preceded a contract with Candlelight Records. The band had newly changed its name from Eldritch, which itself was founded in 1991. Deadauthor appeared in January of 1997. The band could be placed in the same goth category as Moonspell and Type O Negative and featured keyboards prominently. The Welsh band used guest musicians on recordings. After breaking up with Candlelight, the band changed its name to Deadauthor and released a demo called Fallen.
