History & Biography
Florida death metallers Eulogy were born musically in 1989, released a self-titled demo in 1990 (with a drum machine after firing the drummer) and released a tape called Dismal in 1991. The band opened for Brutality and Monstrosity in January of 1992. Dismal also brought the band two awards at Tampa Bay Metal Awards 4 for best demo and best singer! In between tapes the band also featured future Necrosis, Horror Of Horrors, Diabolic, etc. drummer Anatar Coates. For a while future Diabolic man Jerry Mortillero was also in the band. The band played with Immolation, Unleashed, Monstrosity and others before releasing an EP called Essence - with Medina on guitar - through Cenotaph Records in 1994 after a two-year delay. The EP was licensed to Nuclear Blast for Germany, yet the band claims that it never received a dime from Cenotaph Records' Adwin Van de Zande. A last demo called Lesson In Fear appeared in early 1995. A song from this tape appeared on Metal Massacre XII. Pritchard later toured as soundman for other bands. Bearden was part owner of Tampa's metal store Ace's and ended up in jail for robbery after the turn of the century. Live @ the Ritz was a 2003 upload.

The band reformed in early 2008 and was joined by Tony Laureano (Dimmu Borgir, etc.) as a drummer. Also in the band was Cannibal Corpse’s Rob Barrett.
