History & Biography
The group was founded in 2008 and issued its debut in 2011. Evangelist’s Deus Vult was out through Nine Records in late 2018. Nine Records released the 2020 EP, Ad Mortem Festinamus ('We Rush To Death').

The band was described as epic doom metal. Evangelist claimed inspiration from R.E. Howard and H.P. Lovecraft. Doomentia issued a 2014 split for Capilla Ardiente and Evangelist. Per norms of the scene the membership is not disclosed at first, but Michael's name was shared. Ad Mortem Festinamus was a 2020 EP.
