History & Biography
Evil Wings began flying as early as 1988 and released a demo called Shadeless Mountain in 1989. Behind The Sky tape appeared in 1992. The band plays techno metal. The early drummer, Sandro Corti, died in 2017. Some album titles seemed to be related to Gary Cooper movies.

Following the release of Colors Of The New World long-time bassist Giovanni Bellosi left the band due to personal commitments and was replaced by Richie Zanardo. The band has also appeared on a Dream Theater tribute CD.

The group disbanded in 2004, returned in 2011, went away in 2015 and returned in 2024. No sooner had the band returned that it announced that members are busy with other projects and they would regroup in Q4. Walter was to play drums on The Last Superstar. Joseph was promoting the new Bardomagno album. Franco was sing with Alphataurus.

Axton is a Lombardy-based heavy metal band.
