Reviews EXALT CYCLE - REVELATIONS - VALERY
It is the band’s style that does not appeal to the heavy metal fan in me. It is not the Italian four’s execution. This is thoroughly mallcore full of hollered vocals, dropped notes and groovy ambiance with little solid metal riffing. The band must have listened closely to Korn, Incubus, Ill Niño and the like. Blackdawn is the best of the bunch with its solid chord progression and high level guitar presence. Through The Time is more slow and changes things up. It is an EP of five songs and that is where the disc ends, but the band’s direction is already clear. You know who you are. – Anna Tergel
