History & Biography
The band was founded as Executioner in 1984, but quickly changed its monicker. A self-titled demo called Executioner was released under the old name. New York's E-X-E was sometimes compared to Exciter with a punk influence. Stricken By Might was produced by The Rods' Carl Canedy. Vocalist Haley turned to Christianity and continued to perform solo.

The act returned in 2015 and uploaded material called Anti​-​Hero of A Thousand Faces, which was milder than the old incarnation's sound. PJ Griffith was on vocals. Tony Leone was on drums. Hammerheart Records rereleased the two albums on CD and LP in 2025 (delayed from 2024).
