History & Biography The band was formed as a Rush-influenced instrumental act in the late seventies by Siethoff who was joined by Houter. The band opened for Teaser, Powerplay and others before recruiting a singer and recording a demo in 1984. A demo from 1985 got very good reviews in Aardschok and Melody Maker. The debut was released by Megaton and licensed for America by Medusa. Megaton could not support the band, Leurs left and Siethoff was afflicted with illness. Years later the band, now with Co singing, returned for a second album which turned out to be a futuristic concept. The group announced its dissolution in 1998.
The band began working on a third album in 2001, which was now due out early 2003! The original members, except drummer Berend Houter, regrouped in The Netherlands for a first show in 21 years in 2019. Tijl Vos of Tachyon drummed. Nanne Tiggelman was on drums later. Exises announced a new singer called Phoenix Reborn (a.k.a. Simon Chiola of Picture) in 2021.
