History & Biography Exit entered the scene through Beni Sax and brothers Stefi and Martin Haller upon graduation from high school in 1996, but exited in 2002 having released two demos, 99’er Promo Demo and Bis Ans Ende Aller Tage. Drummer Bieri joined in 2002. The band returned in 2004 and in 2006 issued a demo called Her Dark Passion. Confusingly the demo III followed.
Austria’s Noisehead Records signed the band and issued the metalcore Face The Enemy in 2014. Exit announced a new album, called Into Darkness, to be released on October 21st 2016 through Art Gates Records. The line-up remained stable since the group’s founding. Exit’s Traces Of Human Existence was out through Art Gates in June 2020. The band skipped activity during the pandemic years of 2020 and 2021 due to Berni's medical issues.
A 2023 EP had both the titles Live At Hohm Studio (probably a byline and description) and The Corn Dolly Aftermath appear on the cover. It yielded a video for the song On This Side Or The Other. There was a new EP in 2024. This one was called The Red Room Session. Killing As An Option was the video. The band played in Bulgaria and was booked for the Summerside and Wyssrüti Festivals among others.
