History & Biography
The band was officially founded in 2006, which was a year after the act came into being as Deathmarch (in September of 2005). The initial line-up was Tomáš Skořepa, Jan Erben and Jakub Václav. Josefa Valkouna would join and the band opened for Na3To. The act shared a rehearsal space with the thrash band Prokion. The act's first release was a live demo called Remains Of Early Years in 2009. Another demo was 2009's Disease Inside. Tomáš filled in for Spike Cassidy of DRI at the Obscene Extreme festival in the Czech Republic in 2010. The American had fallen ill with a haemorrhage just before the show. Tomáš would also team with E-Force for a European tour four years later after the man's main band had toured with E-Force. Something Is Wrong was issued at the beginning of 2012. By the time the follow-up album was released, the line-up had been overhauled. A proposed split release with Terrordome and Nadimac was cancelled and some of the material was used instead in a split release with Catastrofy and Kaar. Jan Erben left in 2018.

Heresy and Czech Republic-based Exorcizphobia had a split called Voracious Lunacy through the same label in 2022. The band reported that Exorcizphobia had won the rock album category at the Czech Music Academy awards Anděl and even accepted the award live on Czech TV in 2024.

Czech Republic-based crossover band Exorcizphobia had an album called Neurosis Unbound through Doomentia Records and Japan’s DTD Records in 2026. The album's cover artwork was illustrated by Michel Langevin of Voivod. The band was touring Europe throughout 2026

The band's monicker stands for 'fear of exorcism.' Final Flag is a punk side-project for several members alongside Wehrmacht singer Eric Helzer.
