History & Biography
Faust was actually formed as early as 1992 but with Aleister busying himself with Ancient (as of 2001) and Abgott the matter progressed slowly. A demo was issued in 1993, but the band went into hiatus until 2001’s ...And Finally Faust demo. Ghost drummed on this disc. The band signed with New York-based Paragon Records after being resurrected in 2008 with Steve DiGiorgio in tow. Negativity Records issued a picture disc of the band’s LP in 2010. Emilio Dattolo joined on bass. Izio of Xabaras was the new guitarist next. The act become inactive again after playing a show with Death DTA in 2013.
