History & Biography
The Tolkien-inspired band - Feanor was a wise elf king - has keyboards, synthesiser and a violin and that sounds more folk than rock. The act was founded in 1996. The other influence was Manowar. The band even recruited a former Manowar guitarist in 2023.

Several demos led to a 2005 debut album. The band reported it had garnered a deal with another label before being dropped by that company. We Are Heavy Metal dropped the pop instruments and was a video clip for Massacre Records as well. Former Manowar men Ross The Boss and David Shankle were guests. The band toured South America twice. Newer members actually came from outside Argentina beginning the mid-2010s. Indeed, the band's major influence Manowar contributed David Shankle full-time to the 2021 album, Power Of The Chosen One. Shankle called this, "a follow-up" to his work in Manowar. Demo era singer Hector Gonzalez died in 2022. Argentina-based Feanor signed with No Remorse Records in 2025 and was to release a record called Hellhammer. Metal fans were again cautioned to approach the band with trepidation as it had a violinist. The band had two guitarists now. There was a video for the song Sirens Of Death, which was produced and mixed by Piet Sielck of Iron Savior.

Several members were also in the hard rock band Montreal. Singer Stark and guitarist Hermann joined Generation Steel in 2025.
