History & Biography
This unconventional Norwegian duo was formed in 1991 and included some programming and higher key singing. 1993 saw the release of the Black Snow demo and 1994 an EP on Aesthetic Death. Nordgaren gave the main vocals to Hatlevik reporting that he had damaged is vocal cords. Vicotnik of Dodheimsgard sang for the band at this stage as well.

A series of singles began appearing on Aesthetic Death in 2009 with Ingentes Atque Decorii Vexilliferi Apokalypsis. Finally released after endless delays was a new 7" in 2017, which was the fourth and final wax in the vinyl 7" series since 2009. A band compilation was due out later that year. The band was also working on a new full-length, which was its first since 2000. Aesthetic Death was issuing Fleurety’s Inquietum album in September 2017. It brought together all the tracks from the 7″ vinyls the band had released over eight years. A new album was issued subsequently. The White Death came in the autumn of 2017. The band and Aesthetic Death were hawking 30th anniversary merchandise of Min Tid Skal Komme in early 2026. That meant that the band had missed the 30th anniversary by a year!

The band is named after a demon who is also a lieutenant-general in the book Grand Grimoire.
