History & Biography
This Dutch act joined the growing cadre of 'post-metal' bands and was deemed 'post black-metal' in 2009. Beringheim and 't Hondslog were the early demos. The distributor for the demos picked the band up and released the 2014 album, Dromers. The band switched to Eisenwald for Luwte. Bassist Asher De Vries left in 2020.

De Kronieken Van Het Verdwenen Kasteel - I - Harslo began a series of EPs in 2023. The follow-up was also issued in 2023. The band was into ambient music and such was Manifestaties Van De Ontworteling. The band was nonetheless booked for the Roadburn Festival and Samhain 2024. The group also hired concert musicians beginning in 2023. De Kronieken Van Het Verdwenen Kasteel – III – Grunsfoort was the name of a 2025 digital single by The Netherlands-based post black metal act Fluisteraars. It was issued by Eisenwald. The band was booked for Rites Of Destruction Vol. VII in Switzerland in 2026.

Fluisteraars translates into 'Whisperers.' In reality, which makes sense, the band loves folk music and Agalloch. The lyrics are in Dutch.
