History & Biography
The thrash metal band was formed in Rome in 2005. A three-track demo, called Welcome To The Brotherhood, appeared in 2007. It was followed by Either Caesars Or Nothing of 2008. The group signed with Coroner Records for the release of its debut album, Either Caesars Or Nothing, in 2009. The album was out in October.

The band is proud to be Italian and proclaims, “being Italian is a privilege, Being Roman is a honor (sic).”

Reviews

FOMENTO - EITHER CAESARS OR NOTHING - CORONER
Fomento’s re-released debut album exceeds this writer’s expectations. The band is essentially a moshable death and thrash metal fest that does not shy away from guitar solos and has grunting vocals and backing chants to spare. The sound is loud and befitting of band that is intent on damage. The melodious rhythms are clearly superseded by the need to inflict bodily harm. To this end, the drums are explosive and loud. All good things, but expectations are exceeded for the simple fact that the band does not dilute/embarrass courtesy of 'Roman' instruments such as folk bands, Viking gangs or Celtic dangs are liable to use. The band might be silly enough to buy into nationalism and proudly proclaim its supposed Roman heritage, but these guys are not about to show up in a kilt playing horns at least.
The Celtic Frost album title Parched With Thirst Am I And Dying was based on a Roman prayer and was cryptic. Either Caesars Or Nothing is similarly unusual. This edition features a new cover that is barely an improvement on the original. - Ali “The Metallian”
