History
Forefather is the project of brothers Athelstan and Wolfstan and was formed in 1997. The band took on the guise of an Anglo Saxon metal band. The band released several CDs, Deep Into Time, The Fighting Man and Engla Focyme, independently before being picked up by Karmageddon Media. The debut album appeared in the summer of 2004. In 2015, the band re-released The Fighting Man through Heidens Hart. It was re-mastered and featured a bonus track called The Lady's Gift.
