History & Biography The sludgy group was established in 2012 and issued a demo in 2013. Bassist Gary Bavolar left. Several labels banded together to release the group's debut album. Weltschmerz was a 2015 EP. Fórn and Yautja split a single. Ash Borer, Lycus and Fórn were in Europe in 2017. Primitive Man, Fórn, Wayfarer gigged in the USA in 2018. The act was also booked for the Migration Festival in 2018. Doom and sludge band Fórn and experimental act Insect Ark were to embark on a tour of the eastern part of Canada and the United States in June 2025. China-born electronic artist Lane Shi Otayonii/Lane Oshi, who had contributed to Repercussions Of The Self, became the band's co-singer. The band was touring Europe in October of 2025.
The monicker translates into 'sacrifice' in Icelandic.
