History & Biography
The techno-death band was activated in 2014 and released the Boundaries Of Reality demo a year later. A band called Fractal Gates was active in Paris since 2007. The group opened for The Black Dahlia Murder, Exodus, Monuments among others. The band was billed at Motocultor Festival in 2016. The debut record Engram Of Decline was released in 2017. The band was on stage at Hellfest Open Air. Rhizomes Of Insanity was on Metal Blade. The group was booked to open on tour for Obscura, God Dethroned and Thulcandra in 2020. The Impassable Horizon was supported through multiple videos. The albums featured saxophone. Metal Blade let the band go. The group was booked at 70000 Tons Of Metal in 2023. Hugo Florimond departed in 2024.

Fractal Universe had a music video for Causality’s Grip off its The Great Filters album. It was available through M-Theory Audio in March 2025. The manager for M-Theory was a former Metal Blade employee. At the same time, drummer Denys also joined Obscura at this juncture as that band was cycling through every musician in Europe. Obscura, Origin, Atheist, Decrepit Birth and the band booked a North American tour for the spring.
