History & Biography
Valencia, Spain band From Nowhere was formed in 2006 to thrash. The Kingdom Of Fools demo soon appeared. Eva Garcia sang for the band. A hiatus followed, but the Agony demo came in 2010. Mechanix issued a full-length also called Agony in 2011. The Kingdom Of Fools demo of 2016 was re-released by someone (Garcia himself) called Toxic Records in 2017. This was obviously a recycling job and a self-cover version. The band disappeared.

FROM NOWHERE - AGONY- MVD
Someone at MVD has decided it is a good idea to include 'punk' in band descriptions. As with Warchest being 'pure thrash and groove metal/punk' From Nowhere is 'technical death metal/punk'. Agony starts off with the instrumental Welcome To The Cage. It is followed by Catalepsy. There is some Death (Individual Thought Patterns and Symbolic) influence and that probably covers some of the so-called technical aspect, Armando Garcia and J.M.Monleon’s guitars are responsible for the rest. Garcia’s vocals are somewhat lost in the production but being a trio the vocals don’t appear all that often any way and the music does most of the talking. The songs that follow - including another instrumental in REM - are highlighted by some interesting guitar work by the aforementioned two thirds of From Nowhere. Agony was mastered by Andy Larocque and closes with two covers, Cancer’s Hung Drawn And Quartered and Death’s Sacred Serenity. - Anna Tergel
