History & Biography Frozen Soul plays death metal out of Texas, USA was founded in 2018. Drummer Brady Trip lasted a year. Guitarist Daniel Schmuck was in between 2018 and 2019 and his replacement Raymond Macdonald quit in 2020. A 2019 demo called Encased In Ice was distributed by Maggot Stomp. The band was on the Night Of Death II compilation. It was promoting a local concert. The band was on a live video compilation, called Live In Chicago 10/23/2019, with Molder and Coffin Rot.
Century Media signed the band in 2020. Crypt Of Ice was out in January 2021. The band was on a limited edition VHS video of a livestreamed show in 2021 with Creeping Death and Devourment. Frozen Soul was a beneficiary of funds from The Riley Gale Band Tour Grant, which was set up in honour of Riley Grant. The man was the former singer of Power Trip who had died in 2020. Frozen Soul headlined the foundation's fundraiser, Riley And Friends Vol. 2 in August of 2022. Napalm Death was touring using the Campaign For Musical Destruction monicker in the U.S.A. in the autumn of 2022. Brujeria, Frozen Soul, Cryptic Slaughter and MDC were openers in Different cities.
The Black Dahlia Murder, Terror, Frozen Soul, Fuming Mouth and Phobophilic were to tour the USA and Canada in April 2023. The band’s Glacial Domination album was released in May. The group toured with and opened for Lamb Of God and Suicide Silence. Metal Crushes All Tour 2024 covered Canada and the USA in April and May and featured Amon Amarth, Cannibal Corpse, Obituary and Frozen Soul. The band had a cover version of White Zombie's Creature Of The Wheel and a video for the same in 2024. The band, Enforced and Creeping Death were touring Canada and the USA. The band was also opening for Power Trip in New York City and Dallas. Gatecreeper also announced a North America tour alongside Frozen Soul and Worm.
