History & Biography The act came together in 2013 and chose a monicker inspired by horror director Lucio Fulci. Incubus In The Surgery Room and City Of The Living Dead were 2014 demos. Italy-based Fulci premiered a new video for Apocalypse Zombie at Slam Worldwide in late spring 2020. Salvatore Delle Femmine shot the clip during the release party for the band’s last album, Tropical Sun (Time To Kill Records), in Milan. In advance of the release of the newly remastered version of its debut album Opening The Hell Gates, Fulci and Time To Kill Records premiered the new single Paura at the beginning of 2021. This instrumental song was inspired by the soundtrack of City Of The Living Dead/Paura Nella Città Dei Morti Viventi, a 1980 Italian supernatural horror film directed by Lucio Fulci. Fulci announced its Exhumed Information record will be out in July 2021. The album was a concept based on the film Voices From Beyond. The A side was death metal while the second side had been conceived as a soundtrack with synthesizers. The band had a USA tour in 2022. The band was touring the East Coast of the USA starting in late August.
Fulci had a DVD called Tropical Sun - The Short Movie, which was accompanied by a 7" of its soundtrack through Time To Kill Records in 2023. It celebrated the passion for Lucio Fulci's zombie movies and death metal. The band was not going to fall behind the times and was all in on the self-cover version trend. 2023's The Morrisound Session was the band at that studio rerecording material. Second guitarist Ando Ferraiuolo and drummer Edoardo Nicoloso had joined. Maggot Stomp issued it. Morbid Angel, Suffocation, Uada, Mortiferum, Fulci and Knoll were to conduct The Devastation On The Nation Tour 2024 in the USA in November 2024. Morbid Angel dropped off and was replaced by I Am Morbid. Fulci announced a 2-track collaboration with Italian electronic project Talpah. It was available through Time To Kill Records in 2024. The music had been conceived as the soundtrack to Hollow Press’ new game and comic book, Cyberflesh. Fulci had a full-length called Duck Face Killings through 20 Buck Spin. The cover artwork was created by Wes Benscoter. It was also pressed by Time To Kill Records in 2025. The band was booked for the UK Slam Fest 2024. Cannibal Corpse, Municipal Waste and Fulci announced a USA tour for the autumn of 2025. Sanguisugabogg was to return to Europe, with Fulci, Gates To Hell and Celestial Sanctuary, in February 2026. Cryptopsy was to headline the 2026 Decibel Magazine Tour in North America. Joining them for the four-week tour would be Necrot, Fulci, and Blood Monolith. The band eventually was forced to drop off due to visa problems. Spirit Adrift and Cryptopsy stepped in. The group was booked for Hellfest 2026. Industrial act Master Boot Record, Fulci and Arottenbit were booked to tour Europe in late 2026.
