History & Biography
Funeral Chasm was formed as a spontaneous decision in February 2020. Morten ”Sjaelepest" Lund (ex-Devil and ex-Kaos666) and Danny Woe (Altar Of Oblivion and ex-Woebegone Obscured) have been friends for over twenty years and both play in black metal band Above Ravens. They wanted to try their hand at slower music. A demo called I was recorded over a weekend and issued in 2020. This was meant to be a one-off recording, but the duo changed its mind. The funeral doom metal band and Aesthetic Death released Omniversal Existence, the band’s first album, on July 2nd. The band uploaded a couple of songs in 2023.
