History & Biography
This thrashcore group seemed to have disappeared after the second album. The New Jersey, USA-based band was active frrom 1979 to 1989.

Genöcide's first official release was a split LP with M.I.A on Smoke Seven Records. The group's drummer was Damage (Brian Keats) who would also drum for Misfits briefly and join Verbal Abuse and Sylvain Sylvain. The band also had released a tape called Reign Of Terror in 1985. Do not confuse this band with the multiple other bands out there, which had the same name. This gang hailed from New Jersey although a good amount of time was spent in New York. Ebz ostensibly served a five-year prison term in the mid-‘80s, but close friends deny this happened.

Bobby Ebz died in 2001. He was friends with GG Allin who once recounted how he had blown the Genöcide frontman on stage. New Renaissance re-released the band's second effort in 2002. Damage died in 2010.
