History & Biography The act came together in 2009, but The Middle demo only appeared in 2013. A self-titled demo was issued the year after. “Symphonic death metallers” Genus Ordinis Dei (G.O.D.) had a new full-length concept album called Glare Of Deliverance, which would be released on December 4th. Tommaso Monticelli produced the album. The band announced a crowdfunding campaign to create a metal music opera, which was to feature a series of ten music video episodes (one for each song on the album). Danilo Arisis has been a guest on bass for shows.

Meiz left in 2021. Olda left in 2022. The Entropic Queen was a 2022 music video and single. The Entropic Queen was produced by Tommy Monticelli at Sonitus Studio during the after-effects of the band's infection with the COVID-19 virus. The song told a story about the pandemic, but from the virus's perspective. Danilo Arisi was the live bassist while Nicola Pedrali was on drums. The latter man was also part of a project called Inverno.
The band uploaded a trailer for The Beginning in July 2023, which promised to be the start of a serious series of music through Eclipse Records. The album was out in December. Genus Ordinis Dei, Xandria and Sirenia were touring Europe in November 2024. Eternal Live was available in the middle of 2025. The album captured Genus Ordinis Dei during its 2024 European tour with Xandria and Sirenia. A song featuring Roy Khan (Conception and ex-Kamelot) preceded the 2026 album in November of 2025. The song East Of Eden was inspired by a novel called The Book Of Nod. The track portrayed the first steps of Cain after his exile. Genus Ordinis Dei had a concept album and "opera", The Land East Of Eden, on January 16, 2026.
