History & Biography
Active since 2012 and at first pretending to be from China, the Americans had a self-titled demo in 2013. The group’s Chinese monicker was 鬼浴' . Pest Productions of China re-issued the band’s Funeral demo of 2014. The band had lied to the label about its origin as well, but the cat was out of the bag by the time of the release. Moonlover was re-issued in 2015 by Nuclear Blast Entertainment. The band was outed at this juncture. The group travelled to Europe for its first tour there in 2015. The line-up was also overhauled. 无名 was the sole man on Moonlover. This album was also the first in a trilogy of albums for the band.

Supported by Denmark-based blackgazers Møl, Ghost Bath announced the Luminescence · Europa · MMXVIII tour for late 2018. Abigail Williams, Vale Of Pnath, Stormruler, Ghost Bath and Rotting Christ were using the Devastation On The Nation Tour 2022 monicker for a North American trek that April and May. Jason Hirt left and was replaced by Chris Piette (Choke and Amiensus). The group toured with Uada and Cloak in 2023 and was working on new music. Swallow The Sun had a winter 2025 tour of North America featuring support from Harakiri For The Sky, Ghost Bath and Snakes Of Russia. Ghost Bath, in the meantime, re-signed with Nuclear Blast for a deal that for the first time encompassed worldwide rights. The band finished a 10-day US tour with Dark Funeral and was to embark on a 23-date European Tour with Uada again. A full North American tour and a new album were due in 2025. Rose Thorn Necklace was promised for May 2025. Ghost Bath was touring Europe in the summer of 2025. Cradle Of Filth and Ghost Bath announced a tour of Mexico for September of 2025. The Splintered In Winter tour featured Cradle Of Filth, Suffocation, Ghost Bath and Cultus Black touring the USofA in 2026.
