History & Biography The band was founded near Rome in Altari, which is known for a cathedral and three-dozen churches, by bassist Lorenzo in 2015 and issued a demo called Aldebaran in 2016. The Italy-based “epic/death metal” band Gigantomachia has signed a deal with Agoge Records/booking agency. The group is working on a new album, which will be called Atlas with producer Gianmarco Bellumori at Wolf Recording Studio. Aldebaran was the single and video by the Italian melodic death/epic metal band in late 2019. The track, included in the debut album Atlas, had been available since 2018. Giorgio Hesher Marsulli became the drummer in 2019. Gigantomachia had a video for the single Immortal in 2020. Lvdvs Aletrinvs was an EP in 2022.
Italy-based Gigantomachia had a single called Gargani Gemini through Agoge Records in 2023. There was a video for the track as well. The band disbanded in January 2024. The founder cited a series of uncomfortable or harmful situations as the reason.
The band's name is taken from a mythological Greek battle between the gods and the giants. The band focused on Greek mythology.
