History & Biography
Crawling out of the forested mountains of Trondheim was The ‘dead again’ Gjendød as of 2015. The act became busy with consistent releases of black metal beginning with the 2016 demo, Gjendød. The band was K and KK. No one else wanted to join because, outside Donald Trump circles, KKK was largely unpopular.

The debut album was called Nedstigning and came in 2017. Hellthrasher Productions also reissued the act’s demo. A series of demos covered the rabid fan base until the 2018/2019 full-length, Krigsdøger. KK also joined Aptorian Demon in 2020. In fact, this project was one of many the members partook in. There was a 7” called Motstand in 2020 and a full-length entitled Angrep. 2022 was adorned with I Utakt Med Verden. TK (well played, well played) became the drummer in 2022. Norway-based Gjendød released a 2024 full-length, entitled Livskramper, through Osmose Productions as of June. It came on the back of the 2023 demo, Hevn! The band became inactive. Svekkelse, the next full-length from Trondheim, Norway-based Gjendød, was issued through Osmose Productions on September 26, 2025. No activities ensued.

The band’s music is impure and has keyboards, mandolin, harmonium and slide guitars.
