History & Biography
The band was founded in the USA in 2016. The sound was sludgy. A demo-EP, entitled Cognitive Erosion, appeared in April 2017. Singer and guitarist Ben was already in a band called Khemmis. The band uploaded a cover of punk band Aus Rotten’s Fuck Nazi Sympathy song that summer as well.

Chicago, USA-based sludge grind band Immortal Bird was touring with Glacial Tomb in the summer of.2018 before the debut record was released that autumn. Singer and bassist Connor Woods left and in came singer and guitarist Nicolas Camacho-Logan. He would leave in 2022. The band had added bassist Small in 2019 as well. This man would also join Khemmis. The band appeared at an anti-fascist show in New York, called Black Flags Over Brooklyn, in 2019.

The band signed with Prosthetic Records and released Lightless Expanse in September 2024. Piranha Fest II was scheduled for Montreal, Canada on September 20th 2024, which was the album’s release date. Bands like Sinister Shovel Headed Kill Machine, Neil Turbin (“40 Years of Fistful Of Metal set” because ‘sets’ were the latest trend), Blood Feast, Glacial Tomb, Malignancy, Point Blank Rage, Tombstoner and Zero State were playing. The group was touring the USA and was booked for Decibel Metal & Beer Festival. The act, Gorguts, Demolition Hammer, Weald & Woe and more were booked for Northwest Terror Fest 2025.
