History & Biography This Lyon, France-based stoner and sludge band was founded in 2014. A demo appeared in 2015. Another demo was 2016's Hipster Fister. The band was invited to appear at the Sylak Open Air in 2017. A song called Black Goat was placed on a split single with Witchgrove, which featured two Goatfather members. An Italian label released the band's 2021 album. France-based sludge metal band Goatfather had an album, called House Of The Rising Smoke, through Argonauta Records on 24.10.2025. The band had an immediate gig with Dead Apaches.
