History & Biography The group called Throneaeon existed as early as 1991. The last Throneaeon disc was called Godhate. Swedish black metal group Godhate was formed in 2003 and issued a demo called Anguish in 2005. Matte Modin of Defleshed helped the band here. The band was dormant for most of 2006 and 2007 and only returned with new members in 2008. Sweden’s Godhate signed a three-album deal with Metal Age Productions in 2009. The group had earlier toured Europe and the USA. The band's album, Equal In The Eyes Of Death, was released in January of 2010 after some delay. Godhate would ostensibly be touring Sweden, Russia, Ireland and the US during spring and summer of 2010.
The band released The Throneaeon Years Part I: With Sardonic Wrath, The Throneaeon Years Part II: Neither Of Gods and The Throneaeon Years Part III: Godhate all under the Godhate name through Metal Fortress in 2012 before disbanding in 2016. Roger Sundquist was the drummer.
