History & Biography
Mr. Dupont formed the band in 1996 in Limburg. A Winter Slavery demo was issued in 1996. The man/band went into hiatus until 2003’s split with Tod of Italy. The group issued an album through Black Owl of USA before switching to Descent Productions of The Netherlands. The Belgian black metal band signed with Germany's Twilight Vertrieb in 2009. The band's next album, MXCII, was due in February. The album was a historical concept from the point of view of a heretic. Belgian black metal band Gorath would release its fifth album, Apokálypsis - Unveiling The Age That Is Not To Come, on September 2nd, 2011 through Twilight Vertrieb. The album was recorded at Crestfallen Home Studio and Shumcot Studios by Reinier Schenk. The Chronicles Of Khiliasmos featured three tracks. The band played its last concert in 2013 and bid everyone farewell.

Until 2008, Dupont handled all instruments except for the drums.

This band should not be confused with the Spanish act of the same name. Dupont also wrote for Vampire Webzine.
