History & Biography
The black metal band was founded in Northern Italy in 2010 and released an EP through Schattenkult Produktionen in 2013. The band proclaimed itself black metal and so forth, but The masked Chimsicrin also handled the keyboards. The other half of the act was Droich. Both brothers were band-mates in the death metal act Inverted.

Another person issued the band's full-length, Nera Estasi, in 2015. The next EP only appeared in 2020. It was called Introvertere. Defacement and Gorrch booked a mini-tour of Europe for September 2024. Avantgarde was releasing Gorrch's Stillamentum record on 30.01.2026. It was produced by Andrea Petucco (singer and guitarist for Ad Nauseam).
