History & Biography
Active since 2010, something called Sonicdeath Armageddon issued the EP of Gray called Helfard in 2010. The membership was something of a reunion of band-mates. They had come together as a side-project of Heljarmadr (later of Dark Funeral) and Dimman. A self-titled debut came a year later. The band went silent for a while, but issued a split with Gnosis Of The Witch in 2015. Ending concluded the storyline about Charon and death that had started with the debut EP.

Avantgarde Music signed Sweden-based Grá in 2021. The band was working on an album. The band goes through second guitarists like Sweden Democrats go through tissues and laminated copies of Hitler photo books. Avantgarde Music was issuing Grá’s Lycaon in January 2023. Niklas was on second guitar now. Grá released a cover version of Motley Crue's Shout At The Devil in order to celebrate its 40th anniversary. The song was recorded during the sessions for the act's latest album where they had also taped a Bathory cover version. Grá/Dark Funeral/Heljarmadr singer Heljarmader was hospitalised with thrombosis (blood clots) and missed concerts with the first band in early 2024. Grá’s guitarist Niklas Ekwall took the mike for pre-booked concerts. The band played in Greece and opened for The Crown and Night Crowned much further north in Sweden.
