History & Biography
Groza was Mgła’s debut album in 2008. Groza was a German band as of 2016. The word translates into ‘horror’ in English. P.G. was the founder and the act was a solo one to start. The band issued a demo called Unified In Void in 2018, which was reissued later that year by AOP Records. The band had only then become an ensemble. Drummer F.B. left. The next album came in 2021 and was called The Redemptive End. There was a video for the song Elegance Of Irony. The band was part of The Sinister Feast 2021. The Redemptive End tour of the Balkans closed 2022. Bassist M.S. died of cancer in 2023. Singer P.G. switched from guitar to bass. Harakiri For The Sky, Schammasch and Groza were touring Europe in 2023.

Germany-based hooded black metal band Groza released a new album, Nadir, through AOP Records, on 20.09.2024. The band was touring Europe in October. Drummer T.H.Z. was a drum taxi putting food on the table that way. S.R had joined on guitar in 2024. Late 2025 touring featured openers The Spirit, Ante-Inferno and Antikvlt (featuring two members of Groza live). Panzerfaust and Groza were touring Canada and the USA that autumn. Ante-Inferno split up and pulled out however. The band and Outlaw were also touring Latin America. The tour was dubbed All Grounds Zeroed. Groza was booked for 70000 Tons Of Metal 2026. The act was booked for Inferno festival in 2026.
