History & Biography Formerly known as Caught In The Act, Guild Of Ages had several albums to its name. This is a Colorado hard rock band. The initial line-up came together in 1989. Bassist Jim Lostetter and drummer Steve Stuntz joined in 1994. CITA changed its monicker after several albums and tours to avoid confusion with a European band. The group opened for Pink Cream 69 in Europe in 1997 and for Axe in 1998. The first four letters of the Citadel title refer to the band's previous monicker. An edition of One tagged the Live Over Germany CD as a bonus, which was captured in 1997.
The act disbanded in 2002 and reformed in August 2014 after being asked to reunite and play at Firefest in Nottingham, England. A new album was recorded in 2017 and released in 2018. Escape Music reported it would re-release the band's previous albums.
The band played at the Colorado Freedom Festival in 2021 and was touring all 2022 and 2023. There were more gigs, including an autumn run, in 2024.
