History & Biography The Italy-based solo act with a love for Japanese culture (weeaboo) was founded in 2009. Oni Monogatari (‘demon story’) was the first output. Hanormale’s Reborn In Butterfly was out through Dusktone in mid-2019.
The weeb uses several guest musicians, claims the world record in blast beats for its second album and inserts flutes, violins and other non-metal instruments into the chaos. Hanormale signed with Dimensional Records in Japan in 2022. The Cathartic Anointing Of Heterodoxy In Resilience (A Black Metal Rhapsody), was the 2022 album, which was released through Zero Dimensional Records on 05.05.2022. The album featured a cover version of Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen for some reason.
Simultaneous to the release of the new album Japan's Zero Dimensional Records also decided to re-issue the band's second album, 天 照 大 御 神 (‘Amaterasu Omikami’), which was originally released by Dusktone in 2015. There were six bonus tracks and a new layout.
