History & Biography
The band was founded by former band-mates, including guitarist Campos, in 2008 and focused on (death/thrash) metal before veering towards metalcore over the years. When The Slaughter Begins was a 2010 demo. The Wartrail was a 2011 follow-up. The band was billed for Roça 'n' Roll in Brazil in 2011. These led to the debut album, which was released in the summer of 2014. In the meantime, early bassist Ernani Henrique died of cancer in 2012. Bassist Romulo Pirozzi co-owned Pyroz Studio where the album was partly recorded. Red Eyes introduced Felipe Modesto on bass and Angelica Bastos on vocals. The band gigged around South America. Reborn was a demo in 2019. The band was invited to open for Cynic and Moonspell locally in 2023. The band kept uploading songs and issued a new demo, called I Am That Power, in 2024. In the meantime, the band was utilising concert bassists and drummers. Paradise In Flames, Allen Key and Hatefulmurder were supporting Crypta on tour in Brazil in the summer of 2025. Angélica Burns and Crypta's Fernanda Lira were on a quarantine video doing a Sepultura cover in 2020.
