History & Biography
The band was founded in 2010 and played Bay Area thrash metal. Steve “Zetro” Souza was out of Exodus, but incessantly lobbied to get back and eventually did in 2014. He left Hatriot to return to Exodus in 2015 and was replaced by his son on vocals. By now the act had lost half a dozen guitarists and a drummer. Of note Glen Alvelais of Forbidden and Testament had come and gone as well. Alex Bent was the initial drummer, but was replaced by Steve’s son and Cody’s brother. The group had a self-titled demo in 2011. Bay Area thrash metal band Hatriot released an album entitled From Days Unto Darkness through Massacre Records in July. The album featured Cody Souza on vocals replacing his father, Steve “Zetro” Souza.

The Vale Of Shadows was issued in July 2022 and was supported through a video for the song Horns & Halos. Forbidden announced the first annual OmegAfest for May 4th 2024. It would take place at The UC Theatre in Berkeley, California, USA. Bands booked include Biohazard, Forbidden, Warbringer, Exciter, Hatriot and Bewitcher. Nervosa had a headline tour of the USA and Canada beginning in late August 2024. The tour featured support from Lich King and Hatriot.
