History & Biography
One of the several Heart Attacks running around the scene - the others are from Greece, Germany, Poland and anywhere there is a band with a female pop singer and a keyboardist prancing around and calling itself 'symphonic metal' - these grunge and pop thrashers came together in Southern France in 2006. Singer and guitarist Geyer and bassist Capello were the co-founders and school-mates. The former was inspired to pick the monicker based on the Queen album, Sheer Heart Attack.

The first output was a demo, called Lullabies For Living Dead, in 2009. There were gigs with Dagoba and Loudblast. Several demo tracks appeared on the debut album, which was released through Apathia Records in the middle of 2013. Stop Pretending surely sported a curious and distinctive cover artwork. Female bassist Flora Capello contributed cello on the CD. Shawter (Dagoba) and William Ribeiro (Moghan-Ra) were guests on the record. The group was billed for the Motocultor Festival Open Air in 2015.

The second record only appeared in 2017. It was one of the last releases of Apathia Records. The album was supported through a video for the song Fight To Overcome. The cello wielding bassist was replaced by Tony Junior Amato. The band and Decapitated toured in 2019. Negative Sun was on Atomic Fire. This one featured lead singer and bassist William Ribeiro. The new man was a band-mate of drummer Icard in Moghan-Ra. The video for the song Wings Of Judgement was filmed at the Nice Operahouse. The group was booked for Hellfest Open Air in 2022. 2025 offered concerts with Airbourne and Loudblast.
