History & Biography
This goth band came together in 1999 and took a monicker inspired by the name of a lake in Tolkien's The Silmarillion.. Prelude was the 2001 demo. By the time the debut album hit most of the band members had turned over. The band appeared at Metal Over Malta 2015. Spain-based doom band Helevorn had a new Album called Aamamata through Solitude Productions/BadMoodMan Music. The band was touring Canada with Majestic Downfall that May. Samuel Morales left in 2020.

The group appeared at Doom Heart Fest in Italy. The band toured again in 2022 opening for Esoteric and Saturnus alongside Poema Arcanus. There were appearances at Gothoom Open Air Festival (Slovakia) and the Metal Gates Festival (Romania). Bassist Guillem Calderón left and in came Jose Rubio Rodriguez. Drummer Jose M Ordoñez 'Pope', who had been with the act since 2020, left citing his work schedule and Xavi Gil returned to play the planned concerts that were imminent. Enrique Sierra left in 2020. The new keyboardist was Pedro Sánchez Bonnín. A new bassist was Jose Rubio Rodriguez as of 2022.

Spain-based Helevorn had an album called Espectres through Meuse Music Records on 13 September 2024. Session drummer for the work was Sebastià Barceló. As usual, there are several guests. The material was based on the book Ghosts Of My Life by philosopher and critic Mark Fisher. The band had a record release show September 21st and was booked for Doom Over Vienna XVIII in November. Helevorn announced the 25 Years - Rooted Into Loss Tour for January 2025. The group was booked for Roka Rock Voodo in Malaga, Spain for March 2025 followed by Doomship festival in Germany. Helevorn played at Rock Metal Camp in France in 2025.
