History & Biography The Stuttgart, Germany-based group had a song called Die Another Day in 2020. The band and Gefrierbrand had a Halloween show in 2021. The Germany-based death metal band Helldrifter signed a digital distribution deal with Nuclear Blast‘s Blood Blast Distribution for the digital release of an upcoming album in 2021 whose details would be announced soon.
Bassist Igor Montez Alvarez was announced in 2022. Adam Wiechowski had been on bass. Adam's departure was attributed to "songwriting issues." When pressed, however, the departure was attributed to "internal matters" indicating songwriting was not the complete story. The act was working on a new album in late 2023. Impiety announced the Kaos 696 Winter War 2024 of Europe with Nihilo and Helldrifter. The band was also booked for the Iron Fest Open Air in 2024.
