History & Biography
Helleborus, founded by brothers Jerred (music) and Wyatt Houseman (vocals) in 2014, issued its debut album The Carnal Sabbath through Satanth Records (Russia) and Black Plague Records (USA) on June 17th, 2016. The band was playing several shows in Colorado. The live band was comprised of Brent Boutte’ – drums, Ian Horenman – guitar and Michael Hylands on bass. Advertised as having endless blast beats, Helleborus’ Saprophytic Divinations was out through Redefining Darkness Records on 06.12.2019.

The band was named after a poisonous flower, Helleborus Niger, which blooms in the winter.
