History & Biography
The Bavaria, Germany-based thrash metal band was founded in 2002 and named after Iron Angel's 1985 debut album. Iron Tyrant handled the drums and vocals initially. There was a dedicated singer called "The Bone" Heinrich from Witchburner for a few months. "Traumatic" Patrick Kremer was the next vocalist who did not last. Unholy Tyranny was a limited edition rehearsal tape from 2004. Slaves Of The Burning Pentagram was a demo in 2005. This was intended to be issued by Steelfire Invasion, a small imprint out of The Netherlands that went broke before the release could be realised. The band added a couple of songs to the material and issued it as its debut record in 2006. High Roller reissued it a decade later.

Next up was a split for the group and Violent Force of the respective bands’ demo material. The Demos was released in 2008. The group appeared at Hell’s Pleasure festival in 2008. Another album arrived in 2010. Naturally, High Roller would jump on this one too. A split release with Ungod fell through. The act put in an appearance at the Taunus Metal Festival in 2015.

The band was mostly inactive. Evil Possessor left in 2019. He was replaced by Daniel Quanz of Mechanix. Sick died in 2022. Catacombs became the drummer in 2023. There was to be the Nights Of The Possessed Festival at the end of 2023. The show saluted Hellish Crossfire’s bassist Sigi/Sick and featured groups like Cruel Force, Aura Noir, Die Hard, Mechanix and Desaster. Destroy (D. Roy) was on bass. Doomentia Records re-issued the band’s demo material as a picture-LP in 2023.

Wachter was the editor for the defunct Blood Of The Ancient fanzine beginning in 2002. He would later write for Legacy magazine.
