History & Biography Helter Skelter was a German glam band formed from the ashes of Vamp. It was based in Bavaria. Vocalist Chris Strobl had found the band after the heavy metal act Leather Mistress had disbanded. The band Vamp had had to change its monicker in 1985 because there was another Vamp out there near Bonn. The quartet was more inspired by Mötley Crüe than the Beatles however. Guitarist Lauri Meier of Vamp contributed to the record. Other guests were Armin Sabol (ex-Sinner) and Michael Voss (Casanova). Kissler had contributed as a guest to Science Steel's demo.
Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde was a 1988 MLP. The act disappeared.
