History & Biography
An occult death and black metal band, Heretic Cult Redeemer was founded by childhood friends in Athens, Greece in 2009. Bassist D soon left. A self-titled album was released in 2013. The group had recorded the album, but left mixing to a couple of years later while members served in the military. The album focused on the number 7 and featured seven tracks. A previous project of two members, namely Acrimonious, had an album dedicated to Paimon, one of the eight dukes of hell and featured 8 on its cover. The band was singer Funus, guitarist T, bassist D and, of course, drummer V (since he was in every band without fail). A second album, called Kelevsma, was released in 2018. Second guitarist N and drummer C. Docre were new members. The third record was on the third label. D was gone and Funus had taken over the bass as well. Greece-based band Heretic Cult Redeemer had an album, entitled In Oculum Chaos, through Serpent Sun Records on July 24th, 2026.
