History & Biography Hexis was an actual group upon formation in 2010. Beginning 2011 and then again in 2015 and again thereafter members came and went and it became a singer and a backing band. The band has a hardcore sound and an anti-social attitude.
The Hexis demo of 2011 was distributed through Suburban Mayhem. The band was singer Filip, guitarists Kasper and Tobias Tønder, bassist Søren Bomand and drummer Simon. Iron Plague Records issued an EP called XI next. The X single actually followed XI. There was also an EP called Seputus | Fatum. A French label issued the group’s debut album. Tando Ashanti was issued in 2017.
2017 gave the world the XII EP. The band played Roskilde Festival that year. 2018 was a heavy touring year for the act.
The band signed with Debemur Morti Productions in 2020 and was working on a new full-length in 2021. The new label issued a single called Divinitas in 2022. Canada-based Svneatr and Hexis were touring Canada in June 2022. The band claimed 800 shows, including in places like Mongolia and Cuba, by now. Denmark-based groups Hexis and Telos had a split 5” vinyl released through Init Records in 2023. Hexis had performed over 1,000 concerts. Telos featured a former member of Hexis, namely singer and guitarist Victor Kaas. The act was travelling to Mexico and Guatemala next. Memento was a VHS live video compilation in 2023. The man uploaded the Live At Soulcrusher Festival 2021 songs to begin 2024. Relictus/Umbrae was a demo in the spring.
