History & Biography
Dawn Of Disease disbanded in September 2020. With singer Tomasz Wisniewski focusing on Nyktophobia, four members were in a new act called Hiraes, which signed with Napalm Records as well. The debut album was called Solitary and arrived smack in the middle of 2021. The second one ushered in 2024. The band had preceded the release with European gigs with Dymytry. 2023 had also featured touring with Be'lakor, while 2022 had a line-up of Konvent, Livløs and Hiraes on the road.

Dark Tranquillity, Moonspell, Wolfheart and Hiraes were touring Europe in late October and November 2024. Drum-for-hire Ruston Grosse sat on the stool on stage for the band in 2025. Britta herself was a guest singer with Heaven Shall Burn. The band was booked for shows like Rock Hard festival and Summer Breeze in 2025. Hiraes, and openers Nopreachers, were touring Europe in the winter of 2026. The band was booked for the 70000 Tons Of Metal 2026 cruise. The band had two gigs in England in 2026, but earlier concerts in Herford and Hamburg (opening for Rise Of Kronos), Germany were cancelled due to illness within the band.

'Hiraeth' is Welsh for homesickness.
